Chris and Tara Mehalovich opened Minnesota Home Venture Inc. in 2008 after 13 years in the Real Estate business. It was our passion for Real Estate, coupled with a genuine desire to help people and our community that led us to open our own Real Estate company.

We truly believe in and have seen first-hand what homeownership can do for your future, your family, and the community. We specialize in listing and selling foreclosure and short-sale properties for several national banks and HUD.

We pride ourselves on the knowledge that we have acquired over the years and are consistently challenging ourselves to learn more about Real Estate trends to be able to offer the best, most accurate, and reliable information to our clients whether you are looking to purchase or sell a property.

It is amazing how much money you really can save by working with 'experts' who work on both sides of the REO business in the current market. With the volatile state of the Real Estate market over the past several years, we have seen a real need for special assistance for struggling homeowners. This led us to open the Minnesota Short Sale Center.

One of the very first centers of its kind where people can get reliable information from the right people to help them make an informed decision about their own personal housing situation.

We have brought Attorneys, Realtors®, Credit Restoration Specialists, Property Managers, and Mortgage Brokers together to make sure our clients are getting the very best and most accurate information at this critical time, and what's even more impressive is we have negotiated the most of these services to be of no out of pocket expense to our clients. We believe in teaching our clients to leverage their money, create multiple streams of income and begin to build wealth through investment property.

We own multiple properties and have taught several of our clients how to do the same with great success. We live and work in the community we serve. Our three children go to school in this community and we strive to make it the best it can be. It is our everyday commitment to approach each person we come in contact with integrity, hard work, honesty, and knowledge that has made us who we are.
